Course Description

Embark on a dynamic, six-session multimedia journey designed to unlock the full spectrum of your imagination. This course is an exploration of where your best ideas live, whether they are hidden in a splash of color, tucked inside a story, or waiting to be released through movement. We will progress through three distinct phases, using different tools to explore creativity from every angle. Come ready to experiment, play, and engage your whole self!

 

We begin the journey by unlocking your inner artist. You will use color, texture, and form to create two pieces of art. Next, we translate our creativity into language. You will unlock your voice through crafting poems and narratives. Finally, we unlock the body! We will take everything we have discovered and set it in motion, using hoops and scarves to explore rhythm, energy, and the physical joy of expressing ourselves.

About Your Presenter: Brooke Pillifant

Brooke is a professional storyteller and artist who enjoys working with a variety of mediums. Her passion is unlocking creativity in others which spurred her to create Rough Draft, a non-profit that works with incarcerated men and women to process trauma through literacy/art.
