Course Description
Survival Spanish I is for beginner students who want to improve or expand the Spanish they know, as well as students who have little to no Spanish language skills. The course will provide:

an enjoyable, stress-free, learning environment—we have fun

sufficient vocabulary and practical experience that, with practice, allows a student to engage in simple, polite conversation, and communicate essential needs and preferences in Spanish—we learn

strategies and exercises by which a student can grow and expand their vocabulary and improve their Spanish over a lifetime—we collect tools

About Your Instructor: Seth Worley
Seth began teaching Spanish after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Art in 1979. For over 40 years, he has taught Spanish, not as a career, but because of his love for the language. As someone who learned Spanish as an adult, Seth understands the unique challenges of language acquisition for adult learners.
